Today, a team of 5 highly sppecialized persons manufacture about 120 instruments annualy. Everything is handmade, following the needs of each costumer.

Soon after the first appearence of Nik Huber in Frankfurt's musical instrument exhibition, his guitars gained the reputation of "high class" makings around the world.

In 1990 the company settles in his hometown, Rodgau, 20 kilometers from Frankfurt, creating a complete, state of art, workshop.

Good news for everyone who has looked long and hard for their personal dream instrument. The Nik Huber Dolphin is here. Finally a guitar that embodies the best of all worlds: Vintage and Modern, Handcraft and High-Tech, appropriate for Stage and Showcase. With all the experience and knowledge put into the layout of this guitar, the Dolphin represents the ultimate in sound, tone and playability.

The unadulterated "form follows function" design principle makes the Dolphin a true "players" choice. Perfectly balanced, ergonomically shaped and 100% handmade.

The solid mahogany body and neck construction, a maple top and the 25 1/2" scale gives the player the unique combination of instant attack and endless sustain.

The pickups are exclusively handmade for the Dolphin by H. Haussel. Designed to bring out the best in the guitar, they respond perfectly to the given input. Unlike many "hot-wired" pickups, the tone is formed by the player, not by the coil.

The bridge is the link between body and strings and connects the player with the pickups and the amp. Any loss of contact here will result in a loss of tone. And the more parts you use for the bridge, the greater the loss. So the number of parts in our bridge has been reduced to the minimum - we start carving it from a single piece of aluminum. Tricky to handle, but worth the effort.

Even the smallest detail of the Dolphin is well thought out and executed affectionately.

Like the unique shape of our neck-joint, which gives you easier access to the higher frets. Or the wooden back-plate, which is a vital detail for everybody who does not want to see a cheap piece of plastic anywhere on a guitar of this class.

As Nik Huber says "Basically, what we do, is to turn beautiful pieces of wood into excellent guitars".

The NS Guitar Workshop, in order to help you verify all of it's claims, offers you free staying overnight at a luxurious guesthouse at the most beautiful village of Zagori (20 minutes driving to our shop), so that you can come and enjoy all Huber guitars.
