The strings are just put all through the tuner shaft. T

he end is cut off as usual but on the backside of the headstock!

Push back the end a little with your finger nail to make it dissappear (no risk of injury by string ends).

Then you turn the button and the string is in tune.

Duesenberg Z-Tuners can be dissassembled and new grease can be applied by easily removing the back cover.

Perfect!
